M7.0 earthquake rattles N Philippines, killing at least 4 people

A magnitude-7.0 earthquake hit Abra province, Philippines, at a depth of 17 kilometers at 8:43 a.m. (0043 GMT) on Wednesday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS). The quake killed at least four people and injured 60 others, government officials said. Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos has ordered the immediate dispatch of rescue and relief teams to the province.
