WHO chief: Europe, Americas hit hardest by monkeypox

The chief of the World Health Organization says Europe and the Americas have been hit the hardest by the monkeypox outbreak. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Wednesday that the two regions accounted for 95 percent of the diagnosed cases. So far, over 18,000 cases have been reported from 78 countries.
