U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin III spoke with Ukrainian Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov on Friday, reiterating the U.S. commitment to providing Ukraine with the capabilities it needs to counter Russia.

"Today we discussed the latest developments since our last conversation. I'm glad that the U.S. Secretary of Defense is back with good news. Means to strengthen our defense capabilities are coming soon," Reznikov said on Twitter.
