The Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee has convened a group study session on strengthening the military through talent cultivation in the new era. It comes as the People's Liberation Army prepares to celebrate the 95th anniversary of its founding on August 1. Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made a speech during the study session.
