Rain poured into Las Vegas casinos, hotels, airports and parking lots overnight on July 28, as heavy rain battered the resort city. The water flooded in for about 10 minutes, according to one of the witnesses.

A casino spokeswoman said that some properties sustained minor damage due to the severe weather, but were operating normally the next day.

The National Weather Service put out severe thunderstorm and flash flood warnings for the city on July 28.
