Chinese President Xi Jinping has stressed the importance of promoting the unity and hard work of Chinese people at home and abroad to pool strength for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks at a central conference on the united front work held from Friday to Saturday in Beijing.
