China's Shen Menglu has signed a two-year contract with Scottish side Celtic FC Women, the club announced on Sunday.

The 20-year-old left winger will wear the No. 28 shirt at the Glasgow-based club.

And she will not be alone in the Scottish Women's Premier League, as fellow Chinese footballer Shen Mengyu signed with Celtic last season as a midfielder.

Shen Menglu's career profile

Shen was enrolled in the Jiangning Football Training Base in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province, from 2016 to 2020.

She became a youth international for Team China and made her first team debut for Jiangsu Suning Ladies FC in 2020.

In July 2021, she joined the Portuguese women's team Sporting Clube de Portugal Feminino based in Lisbon.

In July 2022, she was transferred to Portuguese side Atletico Ouriense based in Ourem.
