The mandatory evacuation of people in the eastern Donetsk region has begun, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk revealed via Telegram on Tuesday, adding the first train had arrived in Kropyvnytskyi in the morning.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on July 30 that his government had ordered the mandatory evacuation of people in the Donetsk region, and hundreds of thousands of people who are still in combat zones in the larger Donbas region need to leave.
