China's foreign ministry said if the G7 countries really care about peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait, they should have persuaded the U.S. not to engage in dangerous and irresponsible provocations. Rong Ying, the vice president of the China Institute of International Studies, says the G7 statement on Taiwan is nonsense and violates international law.
