On August 5, PLA dispatched dozen of warships to lock up Taiwan island from multiple directions. During the task, all the warships conducted day and night time land strikes, comprehensive attack and defense, joint anti-submarine combat and many other combat exercises. The combat ability of navy warships has improved via the drill.
