Three more grain shipments depart from Ukraine

Three more grain-laden ships departed from the Ukrainian ports of on Friday under a landmark export deal, according to Ukrainian infrastructure minister Oleksandr Kubrakov.

The Panama-flagged NAVISTAR, carrying 33,000 tonnes of corn from Ukraine to Ireland, departed Odesa Port. A second ship, the Maltese-flagged ROJEN carrying 13,000 tonnes of corn departed  Chernomorsk port to go from Ukraine to England. The Türkiye-flagged ship POLARNET, which was waiting in Chernomorsk port of Ukraine, also set off to Karasu. Before the ship carrying 12,000 tonnes of corn reaches Karasu, it will be inspected by a joint inspection team in the north of Istanbul, Türkiye's defense ministry said on Twitter.
