The foreign ministers of China and Russia met on the sidelines of a key meeting in Cambodia. China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi called for joint efforts with Russia to promote regional development and safeguard the international system with the United Nations at the core. Wang Yi and and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov were in Cambodia for the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting.
