An amateur photographer encountered a troop of endangered monkeys in the forest in Baoshan City of southwest China's Yunnan Province.

Indochinese grey langurs are rare tree-dwelling primates under first-class state protection in China.

The mostly grey animals with white spots around their mouths feed on flowers, fruits and seeds.

In China, they are mainly found in two mountain ranges in Yunnan. The total population stands at less than 5,000.
