Former leader of the Kuomintang Party, Hung Hsiu-chu, has said in Taipei that U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan left people there in a mess and her visit was irresponsible. She made the comments in an one-on-one online interview with a CGTN reporter. Hung says that Pelosi came with an ulterior motive, and it is hard for people who truly love Taiwan to be happy as the situation in the Taiwan Straits has become more critical.
