How will the PLA face new regional and global challenges?

Nighty-five years ago, the forerunner of the People's Liberation Army was founded by the Communist Party of China. Since then, the army has safeguarded the country through a series of crises and hardships. 95 years on, what's required from the PLA in this era? And how will it face new regional and global challenges?

To discuss these questions and more, we've invited Zhou Bo, senior fellow at the Center for International Strategy and Security at Tsinghua University; Yang Xiyu, senior fellow at the China Institute of International Studies; Brian Berletic, a geopolitical analyst and former U.S. marine; and Digby Wren, political analyst and international relations scholar at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
