IS claims responsibility for blast in Kabul, Afghanistan

The Islamic State (IS) militant group has claimed responsibility for a deadly blast on Friday in a Shi'ite residential area in the western section of Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul.

Police said that at least eight people were killed and 18 wounded in the blast, while IS claimed in a statement that 20 people were killed and injured in the attack.
