This episode features northwest China's Gansu Province. Over the past decade, the 25 million residents of Gansu have been striving towards prosperity as the province blazes a trail to improve people's well-being. By the end of 2020, all the 75 counties and 7,262 villages suffering from poverty in Gansu along with 5.52 million registered poverty-stricken residents had exited poverty.
