Russian forces on Saturday night fired missiles at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and hit the site of the plant's dry storage facility, wounding one employee, Energoatom, the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine, revealed via Telegram on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Russia-installed administration of the occupied Enerhodar City said that Ukrainian forces had fired at the nuclear power plant during the night, adding that fragments of the missiles fell "no more than 400 meters from the power unit," according to RIA.

The fire caused by shelling at the plant had been extinguished, Russia's TASS news agency reported.
