Support teams from across China are rushing to COVID-19-hit Hainan Province in batches to provide help in combating the recent outbreak. To help speed up testing for the virus, a Guangzhou testing team has helped build an air-inflated laboratory with six film chambers in the hardest-hit city of Sanya. In addition, over 500 medics from central China's Hunan Province arrived in Sanya on August 7. In the past week, Hainan Province registered a total of 982 confirmed cases and 449 asymptomatic infections.
