Zaporizhzhia to hold referendum on joining Russia in September: RIA

A referendum on joining Russia will be held in Zaporizhzhia in September and preparations for the vote are already underway, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the regional administration, told Russia's RIA news agency.

"The exact date of the referendum is being determined and will be publicly announced in the near future," he was quoted as saying by RIA in a report on Monday.
