China launched its CERES-1 Y3 carrier rocket from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China at 12:11 p.m. (Beijing Time) on Tuesday. Three satellites atop the rocket were sent into planned orbit: two Taijing-1 satellites for commercial remote sensing services and one Donghai-1 satellite to verify certain cameras' multi-mode remote sensing technology. This was the third flight mission of the CERES-1 rocket series.
