Cuban firefighters are still trying to control a massive blaze that was ignited on Friday when lightning struck one of eight storage tanks at an oil depot in the city of Matanzas, which is located 96 kilometers east of Havana.

Local fire authorities said on Monday night that the fire has spread to a fourth storage tank and that only the blaze in the first tank has been contained.

To date, 1 person has been killed, 125 others injured, and 16 people remain missing.
