Quanzhou, the coastal city in Fujian Province, saw its GDP exceeding 563.8 billion yuan ($83.4 billion) in H1 2022, a year-on-year increase of 2.5 percent in line with China's total GDP growth rate. It has become one of 24 cities in Chinese mainland to pass the one-trillion-yuan GDP mark in 2020.
