The Pentagon confirmed on Monday that the U.S. has sent "a number" of anti-radar missiles for Ukrainian aircraft to target Russian radar systems, CNN has reported, citing Colin Kahl, the under secretary of defense for policy, who did not specify exactly when the weapons were sent.

CNN has reported that the missiles were AGM-88 High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles (HARM), citing a defense official.

This is the first instance of the Pentagon acknowledging delivery of the previously undisclosed missile to Ukraine.
