Biden signed into law the CHIPS and Science Act. The semiconductor chip manufacturing bill aims to boost U.S. production and ease reliance on overseas supply chains. Qu Qiang, assistant director and fellow at the International Monetary Institute at Renmin University of China, says that this bill is going to drive up market prices and hurt all sides.
