Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has reshuffled his cabinet and the executive lineup of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party as the administration faces slimming public support. Kishida announced the new cabinet today. He removed some ministers with links to the controversial religious group the Unification Church. New cabinet members include Economic Security Minister Sanae Takaichi and Digitization Minister Taro Kono. Former Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi, the younger brother of deceased former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, was replaced by Yasukazu Hamada.
