Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida held a news conference on Wednesday after reshuffling his cabinet.
Kishida said the new cabinet will strengthen quarantine policies as Japan is in the midst of its seventh wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and will ensure the food supply in the country amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
He added that Japan's door for dialogue with China is "always open," according to Kyodo News Agency.
