Russia destroyed German-made anti-aircraft system in Mykolaiv

Russia's defense ministry said Wednesday that its forces had destroyed a German-supplied Gepard anti-aircraft system used by Ukrainian forces in the Mykolaiv region.

In its daily briefing, the ministry also said it had shot down three Ukrainian warplanes in the area, as well as seven HIMARS missiles in neighboring Kherson.

The Ukrainian side has not responded to the claims.
