The Chinese rocket carrying ship Yuanwang-21 is about to set sail for maritime transport, China Media Group (CMG) reported on Friday. 

The Yuanwang-21 and Yuanwang-22, China's first two rocket carrying ships designed to pick up and transport carrier rockets, had completed a maritime mission of transporting the Long March-5 Y3 carrier rocket and its containers this June. 

The Yuanwang-21, together with the Yuanwang-22, will carry out several maritime transport missions in the second half of this year.

"The whole crew and equipment of the ship are in good condition, and we can set sail at any time," said Zhang Pingcai, an official from the Yuanwang-21.
