Exhibit sheds light on how eastern art influences renowned Czech artist Alphonse Mucha

Summer is perhaps the best time to appreciate Alphonse Mucha, as the artist likes to place beautiful women among flowers, feathers, and other sensuous natural forms in his work. Now a new exhibition in Beijing entitled "Timeless Mucha: The Magic of Line" is shedding light on Mucha's prolific career, whose legacy is still palpable today both in pop culture and decorative design. CGTN reporter Shen Li spoke with the curator of the exhibit, and it turned out that eastern culture has served as a major source of inspiration for the artist.
