The absolute and inviolable law of the Taiwan Straits is that there's one China and that Taiwan is part of China. Tsai Ing-wen has managed to chip this away over her tenure. As her political career comes to an end, she grows more reckless, rolling out the red carpet for Nancy Pelosi, using "Big Daddy" the United States to advance her "Taiwan independence" agenda. Chinese people on both sides of the strait are paying a heavy price for it. And that is her only legacy.
