Russia-controlled nuclear power plant still operated by Ukrainian staff
The Russia-controlled Zaporizhzhia power plant is still being operated by Ukrainian staff. The largest nuclear power plant in Europe is also among the 10 largest in the world. Ukrainian power company Energoatom said on Tuesday that Russian forces are preparing to link the plant with the Crimean electricity grid, which experts said might interrupt the off-site power providing cooling to the reactors. The Russian side has not confirmed such a plan.
