One person was killed and 17 others were injured on Saturday when a man drove through a crowd at a community event in Berwick, Pennsylvania, State Trooper Anthony Petroski revealed via Twitter, adding that the man later killed another person in Luzerne County.

The suspect, identified as Adrian Oswaldo Sura Reyes, 24, was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Doug Brewer on two open counts of Criminal Homicide, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release early Sunday.

The 17 injured people were taken to hospitals, and the suspect was denied bail and sent to a state prison, according to the police.
