Highlights: How is social media a traveler's friend?

For Generation Z travelers, it has become a habit to seek a travel guide, get holiday inspiration and document every single experience on social media. It seems that social media and travel are almost inseparable now. However, some people believe that social media is ruining the beauty of travel. The traveler's expectations may not match reality, with many photographs edited to look better than they actually are. And sometimes people find that they spend more time sharing their vacation on social media than actually enjoying it.

In this episode of "What's the talk", we invite six young people from different countries and regions to share their travel experiences through rounds of debate in the metaverse to discuss whether social media makes travel better or worse. Kate Kaligaeva, a student from Belarus, shared her views on why she considers social media to be a traveler's friend from three perspectives.
