Hong Kong film "Sunshine of My Life" had a special screening at the ongoing Beijing International Film Festival on Saturday.
Directed by Judy Chu, the 96-minute movie is based on Chu's own life experience. It focuses on two blind parents struggling to raise their daughter, who is not visually impaired, and the daughter's dilemma of wanting to study overseas but not wanting to leave her parents to live alone.

The film also shows the daily life of ordinary Hong Kong people and the concern for physically challenged ones.
After the special screening, the cast, including Kara Wai, Hugo Ng and Karena Ng, met the audience and shared their experience during filming.
The 96-minute movie is set to open on the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong on August 26 and September 15, respectively.
