M5.3 earthquake rattles southern Philippines

A magnitude-5.3 earthquake struck Mindanao island in the Philippines at a depth of 10 kilometers on Monday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported.

There are currently no reports of casualties or damage.
