A wildfire erupted on Wednesday afternoon around urban areas in Fuling District in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality and firefighters are battling to contain the blaze.
No casualties have been found so far, China Media Group learned from the local emergency department.
The fire came as some regions in China including Chongqing saw over 30 days of high temperatures.
