Kenya's President-elect William Ruto said the expectation of Kenyans was huge, and he had no time to waste after chairing a meeting of elected officials from his alliance on Wednesday.

Ruto said he was forging ahead with creating his administration and pledged that no part of the country would be excluded regardless of political party or ethnic group affiliation.

The chairman of the electoral body on Monday declared Ruto the winner of the presidential election, but Kenyan veteran opposition leader Raila Odinga rejected the result on Tuesday.
