New Zealand raises official cash rate by 50 bps to 3.0%

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) raised the official cash rate (OCR) by 50 basis points to 3.0 percent on Wednesday, the fourth straight half-point rate hike this year to try to rein in stubbornly-high inflation.
