ROK president insists DPRK talks must not be political theater

Yoon Suk-yeol, president of Republic of Korea(ROK), speaking at a press conference on Wednesday to mark his first 100 days in office, insisted that talks with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) must contribute to establishing peace, and not simply be political theater.

Yoon added that if Pyongyang halts its nuclear program, ROK will help the DPRK to normalize ties with the U.S.
