In coordination with the Somali government, the U.S. Africa Command conducted an airstrike against al-Shabaab terrorists that were actively attacking Somali National Army (SNA) forces in a remote location near Teedaan, Somalia on August 14, the U.S. Africa Command said in a press release on Wednesday.

The strikes killed 13 al-Shabaab terrorists and no civilians were injured or killed, the statement said.

The SNA forces said in a statement on Wednesday that the airstrike targeted terrorists that were attacking them in a remote location near Teedaan.
