China has made remarkable strides in combating and eradicating poverty from the country during the past decade. Relocation projects have helped bring 9.6 million people out of poverty and play a vital role in building a moderately prosperous society. Along with supportive measures from the central, provincial and local governments, the projects will continue to alleviate poverty for tens of thousands of families in a flexible manner.
