Russia's communications watchdog Roskomnadzor announced action against a number of foreign IT companies, including TikTok, Telegram, Zoom, Discord and Pinterest, according to a statement issued by the agency on Friday.
Roskomnadzor said that the punitive measures were taken in response to the companies' failure to remove content that it had flagged as illegal, and would remain in place until they complied.
