Ukrainian shells hit the territory of the Zaporizhzhia thermal power plant at night, Russian news agency RIA reported citing Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the Zaporizhzhia region's military-civilian administration.

The Ukrainian government has not yet responded to the claim.
