16 dead, 21 wounded in Türkiye road accident: governor

Sixteen people died and 21 were injured in a road accident involving a bus and an ambulance in southeastern Türkiye on Saturday.

Gaziantep Governor Davut Gul said on his Twitter account that a passenger vehicle had an accident first, then a bus overturned 200 meters behind and hit the rescue teams.

A large number of policemen and medical staff were dispatched to the site.
