The 2022 World Robot Conference has been going on in Beijing for more than two days, with thousands of people watching some of the most advanced robots in the world.
More than 30 products made their debut at the accompanying exhibition, combining the latest AI, manufacturing and control technologies to serve specialists, factories and most importantly, consumers.
Here are some of the coolest robots we found at the expo.

A vending machine that cooks Jianbingguozi, a Chinese-style, burrito-like pancake roll, attracted children, adults and even potential business partners.
Jianbingguozi is very common in northern China. The food loses its charm if served cold, so sellers usually cook it on order only.
This robot arm-powered vending machine does the cooking in front of buyers, with which one person can cook at least three orders at the same time, according to the maker.
The company's CEO told CGTN Digital that he worked six years in robotics industries to come to this idea and spent another four years to build this model.
"I'm making 40 of these machines and will launch a public test run in a short time," he said.
We at CGTN Digital gave the robot-made food a seven out of ten for its above average taste and the tidiness of the cooking process.

As the COVID-19 pandemic lasts with no expected ending date, some Chinese robot makers decided to build testing robots that automatically swab people's throat for samples.
We found different types of machines made by three makers, but only one managed to showcase obvious AI capacities and fits in the robot category instead of just machines.
The machine is equipped with cameras to "look" for people's throats using computer vision, and a robot arm to do the swabbing.
We tried it many times with different gestures. It can tell if the tester is fooling around and play audio instructions to help the tester get the job done.
The swabbing was quite gentle, quite like real nurses.
The real exoskeleton

Many experts at the conference said China is now leading the way in the area of exoskeleton, an external skeleton that supports and protects the body, giving it strength to do almost impossible things.
One company showcased a supporting robot that can be equipped on people whose legs are disabled because of spinal cord injuries.
We tried the machine at the expo and it can help people walk without using any lower body strength at all.
These machines, according to the vendor, can help the recovery of those injuries.
One model was used during the torch relay of the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games to help Paralympians run.
