A group of Afghanistan groomsmen decorated the cars for a wedding on a Kabul street where wedding stores are located. They were preparing to pick up the bridegroom and his bride for a grand ceremony in a private hall in the city. 

Around 1,200 guests were due to attend the ceremony, during which men and women would celebrate in separate rooms. One of the best men said the wedding cost about $10,000, which was covered by the groom's family.
