24 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in China's Tibet

A total of 24 new confirmed and 224 asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region on Sunday as of 2:00 p.m., the local authorities said at a press conference.

A second shelter hospital was built and put into use within three days in Lhasa city, with 1,200 designated beds. A second shelter hospital in Shigatse City has also been built and put into use.
