Turkish DM convinced Black Sea grain shipments are step toward peace

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was in Istanbul to monitor Ukrainian grain shipments on August 20. He gave a speech alongside Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar at the Joint Coordination Center, which was established to administer agricultural exports in the Black Sea. Hulusi Akar said they saw the progress in food shipments as a step toward peace.
