Blooming clary sage flowers have created a sea of purple in Zhaosu County, Kazak Autonomous Prefecture of Ili, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Located in a basin surrounded by mountains and experiencing no distinct seasons, Zhaosu has a climate suitable for the aromatic plant to thrive.
